Physical Therapist Assistant
Nicole Bhalla is a Physical Therapist Assistant (P.T.A.) at Elite Therapy and Wellness. Working alongside Dr. Zabriskie—“Dr. Z”—for the past 2 years, Nicole shares the same fundamental mission of individualized care for all patients.
Nicole’s clinical experience in the industry has helped mold her knowledge and expertise. From 2009 to 2013, Nicole practiced at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute in Ft. Pierce. During that time, she also worked at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. In 2013, Nicole made the move farther south to Jupiter, Fla. where she worked at Advanced Fitness and Therapy for the following two years.
She received her Associate of Science Physical Therapist Assistant in 2007 from Indian River State College (IRSC). In 2008, she completed the Advanced Technical Certificate in Manual Techniques. In addition to her degree, Nicole holds certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Fascial Movement Taping, Rock Tape, and is also a Certified Health Coach.
This dynamic therapist developed a specialty for outpatient Orthopedics and sports-related rehab with years of experience in the outpatient and hospital setting; she has a strong passion for working with the geriatric population. Nicole is also highly skilled in treating other conditions. She can perform a variety of different manual techniques; including: Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), myofasical tissue release, and soft tissue mobilization (STM).
A native Floridian, Nicole has lived, schooled and worked in Florida her whole life. In her spare time, Nicole volunteers at local CrossFit competitions offering assistance and treatment in athlete services for “Rock Tape.” Integrating her passion and work, Nicole’s enthusiastic, warm and compassionate spirit is contagious. She currently resides in Jupiter with her husband.
